Έχω γράψει πολλές φορές (I’ve written many times) ότι τα παίρνω στο κρανίο (that i am taking them to the scull) με τις διάφορες “παγκόσμιες ημέρες” (by the several “international days”).
Anw (anyway), (,) σήμερα είναι η Παγκόσμια Μέρα Μετάφρασης (today is the International Translation Day), την οποία γιορτάζουμε από το 1991 (that we celebrate since 1991) και ήταν μιά ιδέα της Παγκόσμιας Ομοσπονδίας Μεταφραστών (and was an idea by the International Federation of Translators)
Φέτος (this year) το θέμα του εορτασμού είναι (the subject of celebration is):
“Μην πυροβολείτε τον Αγγελιοφόρο” (Do not shoot the Messenger), που με κάνει να θυμηθώ δύο πράγματα (that makes me remember of two things)
α) Μιά από τις πιό βαρετές ταινίες που έχω δει ποτέ, το Χαμένοι Στην Μετάφραση ( a) one of the most boring motion pictures I’ve ever see, Lost In Translation)
β) ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου τραγούδια από τους Wipers ( b) one of my favorite songs by the Wipers.
